Weekend home at Alibaug

The architecture of this lavish 3 bedroom weekend home for a wealthy businessman from Bombay was inspired from the houses designed by Nari Gandhi at Alibaug and the focus was on blurring the boundaries between the indoors and outdoors. The materials proposed are completely local and the roof overhangs respond to the local rainy and hot climate of Alibaug.
