Toll plaza at Kolhapur Highway
This concept proposal for a new toll plaza complex on the Kolhapur highway was influenced by the aerodynamic aesthetic of fast cars and was designed to be a light weight, functional structure to create a shelter for toll payment transactions.
4 star hotel at Siliguri
The architectural design of this 4 star 40 key hotel building involved addressing a very narrow plot and making the most out of it in consideration of stringent city bye laws and energy efficiency.
New entrance way at High Street Phoenix, Mumbai

Tea Estate 1 at Coonoor
This house on a steeply sloping tea estate in Coonoor is designed to blend in with the local British cottage style architecture of the yesteryear. The design of the house takes advantage of the slope in that it is a split level house with the upper level being accessed from higher levels of the site and the lower level being accessed from lower levels of the site.
Mixed use development at Nanded
The design of this hotel cum retail and commercial development involves fragmenting the form using balconies as protruding masses and facade panels to create colour variations. This allows for several instances of shade and helps avoid a monolithic, monotonous mass. The upper and lower functions of the building are clearly readable and a similar material palette binds them together.
Toll plaza complex, Bangalore highway
The site for this toll plaza is on a National Highway and the design of the toll collection shelter had to take into consideration several national highway norms and codes. The structure is meant to be lightweight and curvilinear so as to offer visual respite during what is an otherwise monotonous journey.

Having taken over from the architect who designed this building, Akhil was responsible for delivering working drawings and details for the 9th to 18th floors of this residential building that has rehab flats on its lower floors and larger sale flats on its upper floors.
Interior Design Projects

This design involved converting a 3 BHK apartment into a fully fledged Doctor's Clinic with consultation rooms, examination spaces and a waiting area. A modest budget meant simple materials and minimal design solutions which would offer maximum functionality with neutral, subdued aesthetics.
