Dancing Roof House at Agartala

This is a house for a businessman who wanted a new house on his ancestral property to meet the needs of his growing family. The house has been designed as a courtyard house with fragmented volumes which sometimes come together to form large free flowing spaces. The roof form bends and curves based on climatological cues - it opens up towards North and bends down towards the South to block the harsh sun.
